Installing

1. After download install the file"magicslider_2.5.0.zip".

How to link the slideshow

From menu-item:

Create a dummy-article. Go to "Menu -> Your Menu -> Your Menu Item". Link your menu-item to this article. Go now to the settings of the slideshow "Template Manager -> MagicSlider" and select your menu-item under "Menu assignment".

From article or image:

Use the url you will get after you created a link from a menu item.

Slideshow settings

• After installing go to "Extensions -> Template Manager -> MagicSlider".

Manual text [1]: This text will be shown after start the slideshow. It will tell the user how to navigate. If you let it empty an english text will be shown.

 

Redirect link [2]: Here you can define which url will be load after klick on the close button [D]. If you let it empty your main url will reload.

 

Autoplay [3]: "Yes" will autotart the slideshow after loading.

 

Interval [4]: Set the interval for autoplay in milliseconds. Minimum should be 2000 . Less will automatic set to 2000.

 

Show thumbnail flip [5]: Here you can activate Thumbnails [A]. For this function you have select an thumbnails for every image in image settings.

 

Show overlay [6]: If selected an pattern overlay will cover the slideshow.

 

Font for Image title [9]: Here you can choose between different google- and standard fonts for image title [C].

 

Fontsize for Image title [10].

 

Font for Image text [9]: Here you can choose between different google- and standard fonts for image text [B].

 

Fontsize for Image text [10].

 

Image 01-20 [11]: Select the images for fullscreen display. I recommand a dimension about 900 x 600px. All images should be in the same size.

 

Thumb 01-20 [12]: If you activated "thumbnail flip" you have to select thumbnail images here. If thumbnail flip is deactivated you can let it empty.

ATTENTION: THE THUMBS MUST HAVE AN DIMENSION 250 x 180px.

 

Image title [13]: Here you can set an title for the image. If you let it empty nothing will be shown.

 

Image text [14]: Here you can set an description for the image. If you let it empty nothing will be shown.

Setup the bottom modules

The slideshow includes two module positions you can use: "MagicSlide_left" [E] and "MagicSlide_menu" [F]

 

"MagicSlide_left" is provided for copyright or adress information.

 

In "MagicSlide_menu" you can display a menu with your most important items. But only with one level.

 

If you let both module positions empty, the black footer line will not display.
